In early 2017 we engaged Shane (Pinewood Homes) to demolish an old house and build a new timber frame house at a remote location in the Transkei. Building a new house can be stressful, especially in our case, as we were out of the country for the entire build, relying on WhatsApp and phone calls as our only form of communication. Thank goodness we struck it lucky with our builder. Shane could not have been more accommodating and professional. He gave us great advice during the planning and design phase and was responsive and prompt with any changes we required offering a full turn-key solution. The build went well and progressed on time and on budget.
